Summary

When you look at working in strategy development, quality improvement, or any teaming event, many times we never consider setting the stage to allow for deep, focused conversations. By doing so, we can create efforts that are more effective, generate collaborative outcomes, and greater creativity. This presentation will layout the approaches you can use to ensure greater success in your teaming efforts and how factors such as civility, considerate conduct, psychological safety, equity of voice, and personal vulnerability can integrate to create a safe space for deeper, more focused conversations. There will a few short exercises to further reinforce learning.

We spend so little time in deep, focused conversations in our day-to-day work. This session will give you practical approaches to begin using immediately to make an impact. In addition, we don't think about or know how to practice what I am presenting.
