Summary

The Requirements of Participation bring with them a heavy focus on person-centered and individualized care within our nursing homes. The medical record will attempt to validate this level of care but one area, in particular, can be utilized to either support your efforts or shed light on the need for improvement. This component is the Care Plan and also its partner, the CAAs or Care Area Assessments. This session will describe ways to ensure that your efforts are being captured and that the resident is at the focus of the plan.
