Summary

This session is a must-attend for you to learn about judicial and administrative decisions as well as changes in statutes and administrative rules issued during the past year. Tom will share what happened, why it happened, the result, and safeguards to minimize risk and avoid potential litigation. Information packed 60 minutes

Objectives:

  • Attendees will learn what issues are being litigated before courts and administrative agencies.
  • Attendees will learn how and why the decision-makers decided the issue as presented.
  • Attendees will learn how safeguards on how to minimize or limit potential litigation.

Ohio Administrators: The Ohio Health Care Association is an approved provider of continuing education credit by the Ohio Board of Executives of Long Term Care Services and Supports (BELTSS). Approval #36525-SS-20

Ohio Nurses: Nurses please note any continuing education that has been approved by BELTSS (or any other accredited body) can be accepted by the Ohio Board of Nursing in the State of Ohio.
