Summary

The current COVID-19 outbreak presents unique challenges for people living with dementia and their caregivers. This webinar will focus on potential issues COVID-19 may have on people living with dementia. The webinar will provide an opportunity for caregivers to enhance their knowledge with tools to support dementia care management in this global pandemic.

Objectives:

  1. Define possible challenges with Dementia patients due to global pandemic
  2. How to minimize the risk
  3. Identify how dementia patients may present with COVID-19
  4. Strategies to implement for those affected by dementia
