Ohio Health Care Association
Attendees will learn how paper compliance on policies and procedures is now a thing of the past as the current pandemic has unmasked industry-wide vulnerabilities. This key presentation will include interactive audience participation, Q&A, and a mock tabletop exercise (TTX) discussion on the current COVID-19 pandemic. The creation of the EP rules was met with skepticism, especially in Ohio where large scale natural disasters were extremely uncommon. While emergency preparedness is primarily about protecting life, business resiliency and recovery efforts are often overlooked. Business continuity planning will be discussed at length along with safety and security efforts that will greatly reduce liability and mitigate risk. While many organizations still don't see light at the end of the tunnel, Business Continuity is helping organizations plan to leave the pandemic even stronger.
Objectives: This presentation should prepare facilities for operational readiness, and the regulatory reckoning that will come once COVD-19 pandemic subsides.
