When CMS issued the new Home Health cost report Form 1728-20 on October 2, 2020 they didn’t give providers much time to prepare for the 12/31/2020 year-end cost reporting. Some of the new cost reporting requirements include reporting under the new general service cost centers for Telecommunications, Nursing Administration and Medical Records. In addition, visit and patient statistics will be separately reported for Medicaid payor. Skilled Nursing and Therapy census statistics will also require a more detailed reporting. We will also review new non-reimbursable categories as well as discuss worksheets that are no longer required.

  • Attendees will understand all of the new HHA cost reporting requirements
  • Based on recommendations shared, attendees will be able to start gathering information and reconfiguring the software set-up in order to obtain the necessary data elements needed for the new cost report format.
  • Attendees will be able to create their year-end checklist incorporating information provided from this webinar
