Medication pass can be stressful for nursing staff. Ensuring nurses know proper technique will foster better outcomes and make the process safer and more successful. This presentation will review the components of medication administration including infection control practices, drug storage, and appropriate documentation.
- Attendee will be able to state basic infection control principles related to medication pass
- Attendee will be able to state how to properly store medications
- Attendee will be able to describe best practices for medication administration via multiple routes
