Slips, Trips, and Falls are a common problem and a key driver of workplace losses across all industry types. In this course, we review techniques to identify hazards leading to slips, trips, and falls, as well as application of control strategies; taking into account walking surface conditions, inclement weather, and an aging population. The role of proper footwear, testing walking surface conditions, and floor maintenance as part of a risk management strategy is also discussed in this program.
