Development of in-house acquired pressure injuries and worsening of pressure injuries can lead to serious health inspection citations indicating actual harm or immediate jeopardy. And then these citations have the possibility of having civil money penalties imposed. Pressure injuries can also lead to significant insurance claims and litigation ramifications.
“Take the Pressure Off Pressure Injuries” will define pressure injuries and their contributing factors. The program will discuss the legal and regulatory implications and standards of nursing practice for skin care management.
